We may contact our existing customers if we make changes to our privacy policy or need to contact our customers for some other legally required reason.  You cannot opt out of these contacts.  If you choose to opt in when using the web form or email, we may contact you with direct marketing about services we provide. You can opt out of these contacts at a later time by sending an email or calling us with the request not to contact you.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data to 3rd parties. We only provide your data to 3rd parties when it is necessary to complete the requested service, such as invite you to a virtual meeting or ask you to electrically sign a contract. If you prefer not to use these 3rd-party services, you can email, call, or send mail to help us provide you the services you request without using the 3rd parties involved in other services.

If we are legally required to share your data due to applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, we will do so.

How Your Information Is Stored and Protected

Your information is stored either in the cloud by our 3rd-party service providers (Tresorit, Google, and Hostinger) or on computers or storage devices at the company physical location. Third-party service providers have published privacy policies that indicate they use appropriate encryption for the service offered and compliance with EU and US laws. Devices storing data at the company physical location use encryption.

How Long We Will Store Your Data

We will store your personal information and data uploaded for us to provide contracted services as long as it is needed to fulfill our contracted services to you.  After that time, we may continue to store the data if we think you may need to ask questions about the contracted services or if we need to retain the data for legal purposes such as billing, taxes, or to fulfill other legal requirements.  The data used for a project shall not be retained for more than 7 years after the end of a project and your personal data shall not be retained for more than 2 years after your last contact with us or 7 years after the end of a project, whichever is greater. Automatically collected data will be automatically discarded after 26 months.

Use of Cookies, Log Files, Tracking, and Third-party Embedded Features

We use cookies and other tracking technologies to understand how our site is used and improve it. This includes anonymized information, such as regional and country-level metadata, your path to our site, and your interactions on our site. We do this using Google Analytics. You may choose to opt in or out of having your data collected, except for strictly functional cookies, by selecting your preferences in the cookie banner.

How A User Can Opt Out of Data Collection and Storage

If you have submitted data to us and would like to have it removed, please email or call us to let us know about your request.  If you have requested contracted services, you may need to wait until those services have been completed and we no longer have any legal requirement to retain records regarding providing those services until we can remove your information.

For California Citizens

If you are a California resident you have the right to request information from businesses that sell your personal data. You also have the right to opt out of the sales of personal data. Because SNW Data Analysis, LLC does not sell your personal information to third parties, it is unnecessary to request a notification of what data we have sold to 3rd parties or to opt out of having your information sold. However, you may nonetheless select your preference in the cookie banner, and we will make sure to store your preferences. In addition, you have the right to know what type of data we collect, and how it is used. This is stated in the applicable portion of our privacy policy.
